SMS Info-On-Demand Service Example
With 2-way text messaging and support for scripting the ActiveSMS Professional
and Advanced versions are ideally suited for creating info-on-demand services.
In a typical info-on-demand application the user will send an SMS text message
containing a request. The system will process the request and return an SMS
text message containing the requested information.
With support scripting languages, creating an info-on-demand service does not
require extensive programming knowledge. The example below shows a field sales
engineer requesting the latest product pricing information, which is queried
from the corporate database.
